Scholarship

WAFCAI also provides scholarship support for children with disabilities who are poor to be able to continue their education (Elementary School/ Junior High School /High School, Special school), WAFCAI hopes that through this program children will continue to be enthusiastic about studying at school to can be more independent and reach their dreams. This program started in 2017, hopefully it can continue and can help more for people in need.

 Improvment Accessibility

The Accessibility Improvement Project for Children/Persons with Disabilities 
The goal & expected outcomes are :

1) To promote the target special-needs schools, NGOs and the surrounding community to become a model case of barrier-free and accessible for people with disabilities.

2) To advocate in promoting “inclusive education” by supporting children with disabilities to attend mainstream schools with necessary accessible facilities.

3) To show a good sample as a working model that private, non-profit, and government sections can contribute to the society.
This project is funded by Grant Assistance for Grassroots and Human Security Projects from the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia.

- Improved accessibility of 5 schools in Bekasi (2014)

- Improved accessibility of 2 schools and 2 rehabilitation sites in Bekasi & Tangerang (2017)
